PILSA End of Year Dinner

The dinner took place on Saturday 17 October in the Fale Pasifika.  All PILSA members were invited to attend.  The dinner was held in order to congratulate our graduates, recognise the efforts of our current Pacific students, and celebrate the achievements of PILSA this year.

Sausage Sizzle (x2!)

PILSA held two sausage sizzles.  The primary purpose was to raise awareness of the Association among Pacific Island law students and the wider law school community.

AUPISA Sports Day

PILSA entered a team in the AUPISA Sports Day for the first time in many years.  This was a great day, and while we did not come out overall winners, we did manage to win all of our netball games!

Party Bus

This event took place on the last Thursday of the last half of semester, and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.  Guadas and Finns didn't know what had hit them!  I have a feeling this will be an annual, or even a bi-annual, event on the PILSA calendar!

Careers Development Evening

Organised by PILSA and TRT, the evening was enjoyed by all who attended.  Thanks to our amazing speakers!

PILSA Launch

Held on the 29 May 2009, this event kicked off the revival of PILSA.  We took the opportunity to make a special presentation, on behalf of the students, to outgoing Pacific Island Law Coordinator Karena Lyons.
