Profile
Rosemary Tobin is an Associate Professor and Dean of Students at The University of Auckland Faculty of Law in New Zealand. She specialises in Media law, the law of Torts and issues relating to accident compensation in New Zealand.
Rosemary was one of the organisers of the Accident Compensation symposium held in the Law Faculty on 13 December 2007: "Accident Compensation: 40 Years On - A Celebration of the Woodhouse Report: Compensation for Personal Injury in New Zealand: Report of the Royal Commission on Inquiry. The symposium was to celebrate the introduction into Parliament of the Woodhouse Report that led to NZ’s accident compensation scheme. It was also a tribute the work of Sir Owen Woodhouse.
