Mediation services

In spite of the best efforts by both staff and students, disputes, disagreements and conflicts do arise in a university context. They may be between individual students or between students and staff. The University of Auckland encourages individuals to work together to resolve any disputes. But if face-to-face discussion or negotiation does not work, then individuals are encouraged to try other informal means of resolution, such as making an informal approach to the HOD or to someone who can act as a third party.
