As the Pouāwhina Māori at the faculty, Jonaan is committed to providing academic support to current Part I and II Māori students in their study of law. If you are a prospective student she can offer advice as to the entry requirements and the relevant standards expected to maintain your continued participation in the programme. Jonaan is responsibile for organising tutorials and holding wānanga for the entire core papers in Part I and II throughout the tertiary year. The focus of the tutorials and wānanga is to assist and encourage Māori students to develop and consolidate their legal academic writing and enhance academic achievement with the goal of entering the Honours program in their Part II year of study.
