Graduating with your Bachelor of Laws degree is the culmination of hard work and dedication to study. The award of your degree is celebrated at traditional graduation ceremonies which are a special time for you and your family.

How to apply

Applications for Autumn Graduation 2017 are open!

If you have met the requirements of your degree or diploma qualification and if your faculty have declared you eligible to graduate, the application form will be available in your Student Services Online account up until the closing date.

If you become eligible to graduate during this period, you will receive an email notifying you that you may apply to graduate via the form in your Student Services Online account.

Autumn Graduation Schedule


The Auckland Law School's ceremony will be on Wednesday 3 May at 10.30am.

More details will be provided nearer the time. The ceremony will take place in the ASB Theatre at the Aotea Centre, Auckland City. The ceremony is expected to take approximately two hours.

Auckland Law School graduation breakfast


Prior to our graduation ceremony, the Dean of Law, Professor Andrew Stockley, is hosting a complementary breakfast for our graduands and their guests.

Ordering of graduation photograph

You are able to order A3 copies of the graduation photo taken at the breakfast - perfect for framing. The photographs are $30 each, and include a list of all graduands. Order yours here.

Photos for the 2017 Autumn Graduation will be available from the Law School Student Centre from the end of May.
