Giving back

As the Auckland Law School celebrates more than 130 years of law teaching at the University of Auckland it enjoys an excellent reputation, both in New Zealand and around the world. This could not have been achieved without the continued support of our community - friends, alumni, parents, faculty, staff and members of the legal profession over many years.

The strength of any law school lies in the calibre of its staff and students, the resources of its library, and the support we get from the profession and alumni. Our students epitomise Auckland’s philosophy of academic rigour coupled with enthusiasm for the law. The school provides a complete legal education, preparing students for legal practice as well as many other careers in an internationalised world.

There are many ways to assist the Auckland Law School's people and our work.

Philanthropically supported fellowships, academic positions, chairs, research grants, scholarships, internships, international study experiences and enhanced learning environments… all these will help create the leaders of tomorrow and drive the translation of discovery into the revolutionary technologies and innovation that will shape New Zealand’s future.
