Sign up for the Pacific Issues Moot

The Pacific Issues Moot is open to all Parts III and IV Law students and counts as a qualifying moot for Law 400/499 or Law 498. It is also an amazing way to network with the legal profession and showcase your mooting skills. The Moot problem will enable participants to engage with issues of customary and constitutional law in a Pacific context.

·       You must sign up in the first week of Semester 2, 2017 (week commencing 24 July 2017) at the Law School Student Centre Reception.

·       Sign-ups close on Friday 28 July 2017 at 4pm.

·       The moot is limited to 32 participants (8 groups of 4 students/moot) so please sign up early.

·       An overall Pacific Issues Moot winner and a runner-up will be identified from amongst participants.

·       Note that if you sign up, you must attend the compulsory Moot Information Session on Friday 28 July 2017 or penalties will apply.

·       Please keep an eye on the relevant notice boards including those at the Law School Student Centre reception (Building 810) and the Moot notice board outside the Moot court (Building 801).
