An alumnus of the Auckland Law School will line-up with the USA Eagles in Sunday’s game against the All Blacks at Chicago’s Soldier Field.

King’s College Old Boy Adam Siddall (26) left New Zealand two years’ ago, having completed degrees in law and arts at the University of Auckland.

His father was also an alumnus who used to sit next to Professor Paul Rishworth during classes.

Adam finished a season with Ponsonby Rugby Club before landing a contract with the Old Blue club in New York. He was asked to join the USA Eagles within four months of his arrival in the States.

The rugby enthusiast idolised the All Blacks as a teenager. He had a starring role in The Eagles’ narrow loss to the New Zealand Māori All Blacks in front of a sold-out crowd in 2013.

As a member of The Eagles, he has also played against Canada, Ireland, Fiji, Tonga and Argentina.

His family will be in Chicago for the match which kicks off at 9am on Sunday (NZ time).
