The New Zealand Law Students' Association, the parent body of all law students' societies throughout New Zealand, hosted its annual conference at Auckland Law School last month.

With the support of the Faculty of Law, the conference was a great opportunity for the Auckland University Law School Student Society and its president, Faisal Halabi, to showcase what Auckland Law School is all about. Dean Andrew Stockley and many of the Faculty were able to make members from other Law Schools welcome.

Amongst other things, the conference provided the opportunity for our students to compete in mooting, negotiation and witness examination competitions at a national level.

Auckland teams were finalists in five of the six competitions, with Auckland Law student Timothy Conder edging out a Victoria University student to win the MinterEllisonRuddWatts Witness Examination Competition.

Congratulations to all the competitors.
